Growth Groups

Growth Groups provide a dedicated space for adults to come together in faith and fellowship, offering a meaningful opportunity to delve into the teachings from the previous Sunday's message. Participants engage in a thoughtful exploration of scripture passages, fostering discussions that encompass not only the scriptures themselves but also the sermon's insights and Trail Guide questions.

Older Adults.

  • Forever 55

This is a group for EVERYONE in our church family (or friends) that have reached the milestone age of 55. Once you reach this milestone, you are always in this group! We hold monthly catered lunches that include a program of interest, entertainment, and a celebration of monthly birthdays. We also go on outings or field trips to venues, farms, plays, and the Annual Christmas Party. The committee tries to keep lunch prices reasonable but being able to pay is never an issue! A database of members has been created for better communication via emails, as well as through announcements in church, the weekly bulletin, and The Pew and Pulpit newsletter. Kindly resubmit your name(s) and a working email address (or two) to Sandy Bailey to keep this list current.

  • TR Fellows

The TR Fellows is a church group open to retired men in the congregation. It was formed to promote easy fellowship among men at this stage of their lives. The monthly meeting format includes free-ranging discussion of topics of general interest, the sharing of personal histories, and the viewing of TED Talks. Currently, a designated member shares the story of his first 25 years of life, and then chooses a TED Talk for the group to view/hear. Contact Richard Goodall for more information.
